Adult Discussion (282 Habitat House)

Current, timely topics and outreach are the foci for this class.  A variety of subjects relating to everyday living and coping as a Christian in the modern world are discussed.  Class leadership is shared.  Mission outreach includes Our Daily Bread (Soup Kitchen), the Back Pack Program (Back Pack Food for Pickens County Elementary Students), Soteria Ministries (halfway houses for released prisoners) and other emerging projects.  Several social events are scheduled throughout the year. Contact: Frank and Marcia Pauly, 654-0220, mriglobal@aol.com, formarcia@aol.com

Adults of any age are invited.  The class will focus on relationships, ranging from those with partners, children, friends, coworkers, and, of course, with God.

Family Fellowship (Room 124)

Offering support and encouragement for families with children of all ages, this class seeks direction from relevant Bible study and studies of Christian literature providing help in all areas of life.  Anyone looking for a warm, casual, and welcoming Sunday School class is encouraged to attend.  The class is currently studying The Book of Acts. Contact: Lori Dickes, 864-654-6559, loridickes@yahoo.com;

Fellowship (Room 125)

The studies are based on scripture and class members are encouraged to carry these Christian principles into their lives and community through fellowship with friends and neighbors.  New members are warmly welcomed into this mature, congenial group who share concern for each other and prior members (no longer able to attend).  They support community action with their time, talent, and money. Contacts:  Bill West, 654-3446; Jack McCormac, 654-5710, mccormac@ces.clemson.edu

Parenting (Room 117)

Through lively discussion, members of this class seek to discover how to be better parents in the context of the Christian faith and how to deal with raising a family in a faith-filled environment.  Members of the class adopt Helping Hands children at Christmas, organize parent and children outings during the summer, and volunteer with family-oriented programs sponsored by the church.  The current study is on the Apostles.  All are welcome. Contact: Debra Sparacino, dcspara@clemson.edu

Weekend Warriors (Room 308)

If you feel there’s not a class in which you fit, the WEEKEND WARRIORS CLASS was created for you.  The ages vary from 18+ to fifty-something and older; all ages are welcome.  This is a very active class focusing on fun, humor, and adventurous activities such as hiking and movie nights.  They discuss the Bible and how it currently applies to their lives. Contact: Jim and Meredith Morris, 653-7258, jmorri2@clemson.edu, mmorri3@clemson.edu
