Sunday School
On Sunday mornings Sunday School is available for children ages birth through 5th grade. A caring group of teachers is committed to nurturing children in the Christian faith so that they may learn and grow toward being disciples of Christ. Our goal is to have each child actively involved with our Sunday School community and programs.
CUMC children’s Sunday school classes use literature from our United Methodist Publishing House, Cokesbury, to help children learn through Bible Stories, crafts, games, and much more!
All children are welcome to join us each Sunday in the Children’s Building from 9:45am-10:45am for Sunday School. CUMC Safe Sanctuary policy requires that all children ages birth-5th grade are signed in and out of all church sponsored activities. We are working to improve our enforcement of this policy in our Children’s Sunday School classes. Please remember that we do ask parents to accompany their children to class and to pick them up after class is completed. We will not allow your child to leave without you! Please also look for the sign-in sheet at the door of each class and be sure to sign your child in and out each Sunday. Thank you for your help as we continue to provide a safe environment for all children at CUMC!
