Children in Worship
Children are a vital part of our CUMC church family and are invited to participate in our worship services at 8:30am and 11:00am each Sunday. By welcoming children into our congregation, we show them that nothing can separate them from God. We enjoy the opportunity to bring together people of different generations to share different perspectives and to pass along worship traditions to our children.
Children’s Worship Packets
Kids, don’t forget to grab a clipboard from the children’s cart in the narthex each Sunday on the way into the worship service! Every child, ages 3 years – 5th grade is welcome to pick up a packet with stickers, crayons, pencils, and an activity to help them to stay involved in what is going on during worship! Grab your packet, make the connection to the day's Scripture lesson, and then be sure to return it to the box after church – we will update it and have it ready for you to use the following Sunday!
Come, Come, Everybody Worship!
Children’s Church
During both morning worship services, children are invited to the front of the sanctuary for a children’s moment. Afterwards, children may return to their seats or leave with the leader to go to Children’s Church (3 years of age - K5). During Children’s Church, children will learn more about God’s word through Bible stories and fun activities. Parents are asked to pick up their children in Room 206 in the Children's building following the worship service.
