Would you take joy in serving God by offering your time and your caring to older members of the congregation?
Our Nurture Team strives to connect with all members in our congregation, with an emphasis toward our senior adults. We offer nurturing attention to the full membership as needed, through calls, cards, visits and other neighborly actions.
In addition, we provide bereavement bags to our church families when they have lost a loved one.
Nurture meets once a month on the 3rd Tuesday with a brief devotion and great fellowship (lots of laughter, love, and celebration, sharing in caring for others). During these meetings we discuss and plan our ministry of care to the CUMC congregation and keep abreast of the needs of our members and the community.
Meeting Time: Every 3rd Tuesday @ 10:00am or 2:00pm (rotating schedule)
Location: Overflow Room, Worship Center
Who: Anyone who enjoys caring for others in the ways described above
