We are a Clemson UMC Ministry for active, retired (and nearly retired) adults.
The Golden Guild meets monthly (usually the 4th Thursday) for meaningful fellowship and exceptional lunch outings.
Our goal is celebrating belonging in the fellowship of the church with brief reflections before good food, conversation, and a bit of playfulness. (We do like games with prizes!)
Occasionally we enjoy bonus activities including shows at Flat Rock Playhouse (NC) and nearby art /museum exhibits, afternoons on the lake, etc. During Christmas we celebrate together with an In-House event right here on the church campus, including a beautiful catered meal and entertainment.
The Golden Guild is close to 60 members with 30 to 40 gathering most months. Guests are always welcome!
